Chief Dog Officer Chase leads the pack at safe play zone
DUBAI – Dubai’s pet-loving community has a new reason to celebrate as Jumeirah Lakes Towers rolls out a dedicated dog park in Cluster V.
The facility was officially opened by Chase, the neighbourhood’s newly appointed Chief Dog Officer, marking a light-hearted yet notable milestone for the area. It shows ongoing efforts to enhance lifestyle amenities for residents and their pets across the district.
Developed and managed by DMCC, the latest addition reinforces JLT’s reputation as one of Dubai’s most pet-friendly communities. Officials say the park has been designed to provide a secure and welcoming environment where dogs can exercise freely while owners socialise within the neighbourhood.
New dog park
The Cluster V dog park includes a fully gated entry system to ensure safety and peace of mind for pet owners. Inside, dogs have access to open running space along with agility-style obstacles intended to encourage active play and stimulation.
Seating areas have been installed for pet parents, allowing them to supervise comfortably while their animals explore the grounds. A dedicated dog water fountain is also available on site, helping keep pets hydrated during play sessions, particularly during warmer months.
Chief Dog Officer
The opening ceremony was led by Chase, a one-year-old English Cocker Spaniel who recently secured the role of Chief Dog Officer after JLT launched a public search for the position in November. His appointment quickly gained attention across the community, with residents welcoming the initiative as a creative way to highlight pet-friendly living.
During the launch, Chase symbolically “opened” the park, greeting fellow dogs and their owners as they explored the new facility. The move reflects the neighbourhood’s continued push to build community engagement through lifestyle-driven initiatives.
Opening hours
The new dog park is open daily from 6am to 11pm, offering flexibility for early morning walks and evening play sessions. Its central location within Cluster V makes it easily accessible for nearby residents seeking convenient outdoor space for their pets.
